How Many Hours of Cleaning Do I Need?
This is the question we get asked most. A rough guide is an hour per bedroom, plus an hour for the kitchen and bathroom. A busy family home will need a bit longer than a one-bed flat. The first visit can also take more time if the place hasn’t had a professional clean for a while. We agree the hours with you before we start, so the price never changes on the day.

Ironing, laundry and changing the bed linen can all be done in your booked time, at the same hourly rate. Just let your cleaner know what you’d like.

Weekly cleaning is £19.50 an hour, with a 3 hour minimum. If you'd rather have 2 hour weekly visits, the rate is £20.50 an hour. Fortnightly cleaning is £21 an hour, and monthly or one-off cleans are £24 an hour. As an example, a 2 bedroom flat cleaned for 3 hours every week costs £58.50 a visit. Our full price list has the rest.
Roughly 2 hours a week for a studio or 1 bed, 3 hours for a 2 bed, 3.5 to 4 hours for a 3 bed and 4 hours for a 4 bed. Fortnightly and monthly cleans take a bit longer because there's more to do. We'll agree the hours with you before your first clean.
In a typical 2 bedroom home, 3 hours is enough for the kitchen, the bathroom and toilet, dusting and wiping surfaces in every room, hoovering and mopping the floors, emptying the bins and a general tidy. Things like ironing or changing the beds may need extra time.
For regular cleaning you provide your usual products, plus a hoover and a mop. If you'd prefer us to bring everything, add our products and equipment kit for £6 a visit.
Yes. The same cleaner comes each time, so they get to know your home and how you like things done. If they're ill or away, we can send an equally experienced replacement, but only if you want one.
No. Lots of our customers leave a key or a key safe code and get on with their day. Just tell us how your cleaner can get in when you book.
Yes. Every cleaner is DBS-checked, and every clean is covered by £3,000,000 public liability insurance.
There's no contract, so you can pause or stop whenever you like. Cancelling a visit is free with 24 hours' notice. With less notice than that, we charge 50% of the visit.
Yes. Ironing, laundry and changing the bed linen can be done in your booked hours at the same rate. If you want them done every visit, we'll suggest adding a little time.
Yes. Most of our cleaners are happy working around pets. Tell us what pets you have when you book and we'll match you with the right person.
